The Foundation works with Kern Augustine Conroy and Schoppmann, P.C., a leading law firm representing the health professions, in offering Compliance Solutions.  With Compliance Solutions, physicians can assess their risk and resolve potential problems before they become serious liabilities. 

The program features include:

   •Expert coding specialists
   •Qualified risk assessment team
   •Concerns are identified in a secure and
     confidential setting (attorney-client privilege)
   •Written plans are submitted to the practice for
    easy implementation and followup

There are three phases to the program:

Phase I

Risk Assessment: 
A review of the physician's office billing and record keeping practices focused on identifying problematic operational and regulatory issues.

Phase II

Remediation:
An analysis of all issues identifed in Phase I (Risk Assessment) and the development of policies, procedures and training to address the issues.

Phase III

Complaince Management:
Development of effective approaches to resolve problem areas and assure compliance through implementation.  Ongoing compliance maintenance is included in this phase.
